The other striking difference between Korea and the United States is the way in which people wear so much clothing at the beach in this country. At beaches back home, on a sunny day, it's difficult to find someone wearing a shirt. Women wear bikinis that hide only the bare essentials. They often wear thong bathing suits, which are bathing suits that have only a thin strip to cover their bum. And in Europe, the women don't even wear tops. But I went to Haeundai beach in Pusan this summer and everyone was wearing shirts. There were a few women in two-piece bathing suits, but most were wearing one-piece suits. That's very different from home.
