the Tooth Fairy

I have heard that in Korea, if a tooth falls out, it is good luck to throw it on the roof. I have also heard that if you have a dream of a tooth falling out, then you may lose a friend or family member. In Western culture we also have a superstition about teeth, the Tooth Fairy. She is almost as famous as Santa Clause. When a tooth comes out, a child places it under his or her pillow at night, and, while the child is sleeping, the Tooth Fairy will take it away and replace it with money-usually 1 dollar or 5 dollars. My guess is that this is all an elaborate trick by the parents to encourage children to yank out those loosening baby teeth. Nevertheless, the Tooth Fairy remains an enduring superstition in the West. Çؼ® ÀÌ»¡¿äÁ¤
