Getting gasoline in the United States is very different from here in Korea. You may have seen people getting gas on TV or in movies. Usually the gas stations in America are "self-serve" gas stations. This means that you get out of the car and put the gas in the car yourself. Most gas stations also have a "pay first" policy. This means that you must pay before you can put gas in your car. Some of the pumps accept credit cards so that you can just insert your credit card and start pumping gas.
